Journey’s 12th Anniversary Celebration!

Starting in a movie theater in 2009, moving to the High School theater in 2012, and then moving to our 7+ acre Campus in 2020, it has been quite a ride! We are excited about what God has in store for us next!

There are new folks at Journey every Sunday, have you been meeting them? Everybody’s story is different. Some walk or drive by and see the sign and come to check us out. Some see us on our website or on Facebook and like what they see. Most are invited by family and friends! We are planning to have 2 services (9:00am and 10:30am) on Easter, April 4, to make sure we have room for those you invite.

Phase 1 of our Campus update is going very well! All the framing is complete downstairs for classrooms for our JourneyKids. The HVAC and all new electrical system are being installed currently. Sheetrock and insulating walls will be started soon. You will see a new concrete slab poured between the Chapel and the parking lot (right where our outdoor stage was!). After all the units are installed, we will build a fence around it to make it all safe. The flooring and paint will be done hopefully in May. 

The main floor restrooms will be remodeled as soon as the downstairs is complete. Some of it may overlap a bit. When that happens we will be without restrooms on the main floor for a couple weeks. We will let you know before that happens so you can plan appropriately. There will still be restrooms available downstairs, and next door at the Learning Center.  

Our goal for Phase 1 was to raise $300,000. Over $100,000 has already come in and over $70,000 more has been pledged! How cool is that? Thank you for making that happen! If you haven’t given or made a pledge yet, you can still get in on the blessing. Jesus said it’s more blessed to give than to receive! Pledge cards are available on the Connect Table at the back of the Auditorium.

For those of you who are wondering, we are keeping current on our mortgage each month and our balance is under $224,000. Again, thank you for giving to make this possible!
